Details: The large online campaign for the Ableton music summit required gripping sound design that complemented the curatorial themes of the event. Each visual colour palette got its own sound world that reflected the appropriate mood. The design also dictated the generative sound responsive visuals which was considered in the design of sound triggers.

Details: Ableton commissioned sound design for the announcement of the artists taking part in theit Loop music makers summit. The sound world needed to be recognisable and in line with their brand and themes of the event. We also decided to give every artists a slightly different sound and subtly reference the sounds that they themselves were known for in their work. An artist know for guitar works had subtle guitar sounds come through, one concentrating on percussion had more rhythmical elements and so forth. This created a myriad of sound designs that were crafted for each individual artist announcement.

The announcements themselves were made on all Ableton social media channels.

Project: Das Melancholische Mädchen

Work: Improvisational soundtrack

Details: The award winning post-modern comedy features a combination sound track by M. Bloech and M. Sembritzki. It also involves free improvisational elements, created in the studio by reacting directly to the film. The double bass improvisation creates the dark, moody atmosphere in the club scene of the film and carries on throughout the score.
